Medicine by Guster

Into the maze
Enter the medicine handed down
Within these veins
Bleeding with apathy till it drowns
No more to gain
Needing the ugliness that surrounds
Return again
Caught in the medicine handed down
Am I your charity?
For you to look so kind?
But your aim is not quite clear
It’s better if you leave in quiet
Is this mood frightening?
And who are you sometimes?
Don’t try and rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m far past done
Gasping, calling
I saw I’m all alone
Grasping, crawling
Is this not what you had planned?
Oh I’m all alone
Go on hero
You’re faking no one, not today
Stop this you’re scaring me
Don’t even know you now
Trying to rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m way past gone
Into the maze
  • It just describes everything i feel when I am in pain.

Migraine Awareness Month Blogging Challenge #5: “Do That To Me One More Time.”

What comfort measure do you find helps you enough during a Migraine that you go back to it again and again, and how do you use it?
I have a spot. The chair in my family room, and i sit there with my fuzzy blanket. And i like cuddling. also, icebags are my best friends, i sleep with one every night, and my teddy bear (of course)

Migraine Awareness Month: Your First Migraine

I was in fourth grade. I remember waking up with a headache and feeling awful. I told my mom that I wasn’t feeling well and she thought i had a virus or something so I stayed home from school. But the next day I still wasn’t feeling better, so my mom took me to the doctor. Since my mom has migraines and they also run in my family the doctor thought i had migraines. Since i was so young, there wasn’t much safe to take so she suggested Exedrin. And WOW! it worked really well. I remember taking it and then about 30 minutes later i was out in the front yard hula-hooping! I also remember being really embaraseed because my bus came by when I was out, and the next day the kids acusing me of skipping school.

And that was the beginning of my Migraines!
