This is My Life

living with chronic migraine and its consequences.

3 notes

survived a migraine clinic yesterday. one IV and a gazzilion meds later I’m feeling a little better (13 hours of sleep may have helped that one!) :)

i got dexamethazone(a steriod), benadryl, valproate, magsulfate and reglan and occipital nerve blocks. It was a much better experience than I’m used to because they recently set up a migraine clinic so i went there instead of the ER and the people actually knew what they were doing and the lights were basically off and it was really quiet! It was as good as a hospital experience could be!
