I keep getting my hopes up, maybe something good will happen. I get all excited and than it doesn’t happen. I Think I should just stop trying. I feel like I always go out of my way to do nice things/help/accommodate my friends and I feel like its not reciprocated. Ugg.

I’m going to talk to the disabilities office, but I’m not sure what help they are really going to be able to give me.
I don’t really have the spoons to give a thorough answer to this today, but I will direct you here for now….
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Know your priorities, that’s very important. When I have a lot of energy, I study. Also, know your boundaries. It’s dangerous to take on too much work because it will only make it harder for you and cause stress (which will make you more tired etc). It comes down to this: do what you want to do but don’t forget about your body. Your illness shouldn’t overtake your life but you shouldn’t ignore it either.
Good luck! :) xx
Thanks! So far through high school I’ve managed balancing work play and rest! Hopefully I will be able to do the same at college!

I think that there should be a body swap day for any chronically ill patient who has ever been doubted by am ableist asshole. Then those who have been told to “just push past it” can watch as the ignorant jerks have a lovely time, “getting over it”.
Please!!!
