Am I on any medications? Oh bless your heart!

I hate this

I keep getting my hopes up, maybe something good will happen. I get all excited and than it doesn’t happen. I Think I should just stop trying. I feel like I always go out of my way to do nice things/help/accommodate my friends and I feel like its not reciprocated. Ugg.

POTS: Not the Illegal Kind: Any suggestions on how to succeed at college with a chronic illness?

I’m going to talk to the disabilities office, but I’m not sure what help they are really going to be able to give me.

I don’t really have the spoons to give a thorough answer to this today, but I will direct…

Know your priorities, that’s very important. When I have a lot of energy, I study. Also, know your boundaries. It’s dangerous to take on too much work because it will only make it harder for you and cause stress (which will make you more tired etc). It comes down to this: do what you want to do but don’t forget about your body. Your illness shouldn’t overtake your life but you shouldn’t ignore it either.
Good luck! :) xx

Thanks! So far through high school I’ve managed balancing work play and rest! Hopefully I will be able to do the same at college!
